We never write your file to disk. It is held in memory only for as long as the translation takes, then released when your download is handed back. Other tools promise to delete your uploads after 24 hours. We have nothing to delete, because no copy is ever made.
There is no account and no email, so nothing is tied to you. The only thing we keep is a tally: how many translations ran, on which tool, between which two languages. Not your text, not your file, not a name.
To translate it, the text itself is sent to Google's Gemini API. We pay for that API, and Google's terms for paid use say prompts and responses are not used to improve their products. That is their commitment rather than ours, which is why we link it instead of paraphrasing it.
If a document is confidential enough that no third-party API may see it, do not upload it here, or to any free online translator. That is the honest answer.
